Games are running out for Middlesbrough and a trip to Loftus Road starts a massive April.

Middlesbrough are heading to QPR hoping to do the double over the West London club. The game is Friday night at 7:45pm and MSS have everything you need to know about how to get there and where to meet up.

Getting there

Loftus Road is relatively easy to get to. The ground is close to White City and Shepherd’s Bush (both on the Central Line) and Shepherd’s Bush Market (Hammersmith & City line).

Pre-Match Pubs

There are several pubs in the area suitable for away fans – however there are many that are strictly for home fans.

MSS will be meeting in the Sindercombe Social (details here), close to Goldhawk Road and Shepard’s Bush stations. The pub welcomes away fans and also serves food.

Other options include Belushi’s (details here) which is the QPR FC’s official designated away fans pub and Brew dog (details here) who have asked for shirts to be covered if fans wish to visit there.

MSS have booked the Walkabout Temple (Details) for the screening of Friday night’s (18th March) clash. Kick off is at 7:45pm.
 
Walkabout Temple is a large venue and can accommodate the big crowds Middlesbrough attract for a Friday night fixture.
 
The venue operates a strict ID policy so please make sure you bring some proof of age.
 
 
Like all MSS events, this screening is open to all Boro supporters and we hope to see you there.

MSS Match Pack: Charlton

Boro head to Charlton Athletic for a hastily rearranged fixture this Sunday 13th March

MSS have arranged everything you need to know for this weekend’s trip to South East London. Kick off for this game is 3:30pm.

MSS have arranged for the Erasmus Boat to take Boro fans to this Sunday’s game. Tickets are still available and can be purchased here. The boat will depart from Westminster Pier at 11am and arrive at North Greenwich Pier between 13:15 and 13:30.

After the MSSBoat has docked, we have chosen to The Pilot pub for a a quick drink before heading to The Valley.

From here fans can either take the the 30 minute walk to the ground or 161, 462, 486 bus from Millennium Village Oval Square (MC) to Woolwich Road Gallions Road.

Alternative travel

For those unable to make the boat, trains to Charlton are subject to engineering works and the advised route is through North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) and then walking or taking a bus from there. See bus routes above.

The MSS boat is back and ready to set sail for Charlton.

After the success of last year’s boats, MSS has decided Boro fans deserve to arrive to Charlton in style. We have booked the Erasmus for Boro’s fixture with Charlton Athletic on Sunday 13th March.

Boarding for the boat will begin at 10:30am at Westminster Pier (details) – We advise passengers to arrive as close to 10:30am as possible – departure will be at around 11am. We will then set sail up and down the River Thames, taking in all its glorious sights and monuments, before finally docking at North Greenwich at around 1:15pm.

On board there are full bar facilities.

Charlton Athletic’s The Valley is just 2 miles away with a few pubs on the way.

Tickets for the boat are priced at £15 (Inc. fees) and are on sale now. Ticket costs go towards ensuring MSS can continue to run events like this in the future.
