Following scenes of absolute delight at the Dog & Truck last Friday night we’re heading back to do it all over again. The proposition this Friday night is even more mouth watering as Boro head to Elland Road to play Marcelo Bielsa’s in-form Leeds United side.
We’ve booked The Dog & Truck for the screening of this Friday’s (31st August) clash with Leeds United. Kick off is at 19:45pm.
The address is 72 Back Church Ln, E1 1LX. The pub is about 10 minutes walk from Aldgate and Aldgate East, and about 15 minutes walk from Tower Hill, Tower Gateway, and Shadwell.
The pub has plenty of indoor TV screens, as well as outdoor TV’s for those who want to grab some fresh air while watching this top of the table clash. They also don’t mind their punters ending up horizontal and drenched in beer when last minute winners are scored. Result!
This screening is open to all Boro fans. Hope to see plenty of you there. UTB!
Mini Match Pack
Boro come into this game on the back of four consecutive league wins and clean sheets, a feat last achieved over the Christmas period of the 15-16 promotion season. It also means Boro have the best goals against record in the league.
Leeds have impressed many so far this season. Managed by world renowned coach Marcelo Bielsa they’ve played a high energy, swift countering-attacking style that has helped them score 14 goals in 5 games, which is a league high. Leeds did finally slip up last night, with a 2-0 home defeat to ten man Preston in the Carabao Cup.
Elland Road has rarely been a happy hunting ground for the Boro. Our last win in Leeds came courtesy of a Marvin Emnes goal in August 2011. This is one of just four Boro victories at Elland Road since 1962.
