A controversial penalty denied Boro all three points at Hull at the weekend, and as such prevented us from ascending to the Championship summit. In fact, our inconsistent form since the international break has cost the Boro our top two place, with free-scoring West Brom overtaking us and Leeds to take top spot.
Thankfully we have an instant opportunity to make amends as we travel to winless Ipswich Town. Join the MSS at the Dog and Truck pub this Tuesday to see if we can get back to winning ways on the road.
We’ve booked The Dog & Truck for the screening of this Tuesday’s (2nd October) clash with Ipswich Town. Kick off is at 19:45pm.
For more info join the Facebook event.
The address is 72 Back Church Ln, E1 1LX. The pub is about 10 minutes walk from Aldgate and Aldgate East, and about 15 minutes walk from Tower Hill, Tower Gateway, and Shadwell.
The pub has plenty of indoor TV screens, as well as outdoor TV’s for those who want to grab some fresh air while watching this top of the table clash.
This screening is open to all Boro fans. Hope to see plenty of you there. UTB!

Boro’s blunt attack came to the front at the weekend, unable to create enough chances to kill off struggling Hull at the KCOM. A trip to Ipswich offers an ideal setting for us to improve our inconsistent away form.
Ipswich have been in awful form this season and are still yet to win under their new manager Paul Hurst. The Tractor Boys have drawn six of their ten league fixtures, including their last game, a visit to Birmingham City which saw them throw away a two-goal lead. They’ve also drawn every home league game this season.
Portman Road hasn’t been the happiest hunting ground for Boro, winning just three times in the last 40 years. However, we’re unbeaten on our last two trips, including the 2-2 dead rubber on the last day of the 17-18 league season.
